"God has opened the door to blessings no man can shut." - Annie Kamwendo
No truer words were spoken that were quintessential to how this day unfolded. So many memorable moments to cherish for a lifetime at the Kamwendo wedding.
One of the highlights from the night was the "Money Throwing" tradition. This tradition is known as kwacha throwing, a Malawian wedding tradition where the bride and groom dance in front of their guests as the guests are encouraged to toss kwacha, the Malawian currency, on the newly wed couple. This is continued for approximately 2 hours! This is actually my 2nd time experiencing this beautiful moment during the reception. The first time happened during the Akinbola wedding! Kudos to Shadreck and Andrea for tying the knot at Second Presbyterian Church!
